MICHAEL YOUSSEF LAUNCHES PERSONAL BLOG
Dear Joseph S.,
I am pleased to share with you that I am starting a new, personal
blog. This online blog will allow me to communicate my perspective on
cultural, political and religious trends that are developing around
the world.
As you may know, in addition to pastoring a church for 23 years
and leading an international media ministry for 22 years, I grew up in
a socialist country and have seen the damage it can do to freedom and
prosperity. I believe that I must speak out concerning decisions being
made today and I hope you find my unique perspective helpful.
Please keep in mind that this personal blog is not connected to
Leading The Way nor The Church of The Apostles. This is a personal
blog. I hope you find it helpful and will share it with your friends.

Michael Youssef, Ph.D., is the Founding Rector of The Church of
The Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia and the Founder and President of
Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, a worldwide ministry that
shares the Gospel message through the creative use of media and
on-the-ground ministry teams. His weekly television programs and daily
radio programs are broadcast in 20 languages and seen in more than 200
countries -- airing 3,800 times per week.
Dr. Youssef was born in Egypt. He lived in Lebanon and Australia
before coming to the United States. In 1984, he fulfilled a childhood
dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore
College in Sydney, Australia, and from Fuller Theological Seminary in
California. In 1984, he earned a Ph.D. in social anthropology from
Emory University. He has authored more than 20 books, including the
most recent, "You Want Me To Do What?". He and his wife reside in
Atlanta and have four grown children and three grandchildren.
